Hey readers, I’ve missed you! Did you miss me? I apologize for the week hiatus but after a week of record-breaking and name taking, the Pricefalls, LLC. blog is back in business!
Before we move forward to talk about new issues last week deserves a mention. As I mentioned it was a week filled with record-breaking sales days at Pricefalls as well as @Pricefalls #winning and embracing #tigerblood (if those last two don’t make sense Google search ‘Charlie Sheen twitter’).
Speaking of celebrities embracing trends, no personality or brand has attempted to better embrace going viral than Jennifer Aniston in the newest Smart Water video. I say video in lieu of commercial because that is how Ms. Aniston herself defines the ad.
In the video she states, “ I’m here to talk to you about Smart Water but in this day and age I can’t just do that can I?…I have to make a video that turns into a virus.” She is then quickly corrected to say viral and proceeds to satirize a number of other internet viral sensations including puppies, Double RainBow man and crotch shots.
The video then ends with an interesting twist where she names the ‘ad’ “Jen Aniston’s Sex Tape”, yet another attempt to play on the viral trend. I have embedded the video below and would love to hear your thoughts and answer to my following question.
